A CASE for Going from Learning Programming to Learning Software Engineering
註釋Abstract: "This article reports from a two year effort to change the content of the introductory semester of a combined computer engineering and computer science education. The change concerned a shift in emphasis from programming to software development. The objective was to give the students a combination of programming and software engineering skills via courses and large scale project work. The first year the software engineering part was based on paper and pencil as a medium, whereas in the second year it was based on extensive use of CASE tools. The article argues that this change in medium was decisive for the more successful software engineering teaching during the second year."
