Rates of Denudation as Measured by Bristlecone Pines, Ceder Breaks, Utah
註釋The stand of britlecone pines just north of Cedar Breaks National Monument in southern Utah affords an excellent opportunity to determine rates of denudation there. Denudation in this area occurs at a general rate of 11.5 inches per 1000 years. Erosion increases with the degree of slope, and an effort to appraise this factor provided the following results.
