Image Processing of Geological Data
註釋This book looks at geological maps and microscopic images of thin sections of rocks by methods of image processing. The book spans three different aspects of geological image processing: the philosophical appooach in geology, the programming of image processing software and practical applications of various compleaxity including one pattern recognition experiment. The study is aimed at applications of the dimension and character of conventional real-life geological studies, and also at relatively large digital images of about 1 million picture elements.
