註釋
Poverty is costing us too much. The National Council of Welfare provided examples in its 2002 report on the Cost of Poverty. In 2006, in Solving Poverty: Four Cornerstones of a Workable National Strategy for Canada, we outlined a governance model based on long-term vision, plans and budgets, accountability and measures to assess progress. The Dollars and Sense of Solving Poverty expands on both reports by providing more examples from a growing body of studies as well as insights that can improve success in establishing clearer vision, designing more effective plans and budgets, improving accountability to Canadians and ensuring progress by measuring what matters.
