Żydzi płoccy
註釋Ch. 1 (pp. 1-32) surveys the history of the Jews in Płock from the 12th century up to the Second World War (in 1939 there were 9,000 Jews in the town). The rest of the book describes the fate of the Jews under Nazi occupation, the foundation of the ghetto in September 1940, and deportations to the labor camp in Dzialdowo and to other camps in the Radom district in February-March 1941. Many of Płock's Jews were deported to Treblinka and other extermination camps. Deals, as well, with resistance actions - e.g. participation of Plock Jews in the uprising in Treblinka. Pp. 151-185 contain biographical sketches of prominent Jews from Płock.
