Philip Zink was born 17 December 1769. His parents may have been Jacob Zink and Catherine. He married Catherine Roads 22 May, 1791 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. They had seven children. He died in about 1817 in Adams County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
