Ludwig Henry Lindeman (1798-1864) married Anna Wemka Ohland, and in 1869, his widow and her remaining daughters immigrated from Germany to Brooklyn, New York to join her three sons who had immigrated earlier. Descendants lived in New York, Connecticut, Ohio, California and elsewhere.
