Treasures of the World
註釋Twelve-year-old Ana dreams of leaving her small Bolivian mining town high in the Andes for another life. On her mountain, the air is thin, the weather cold, and no matter how hard her father works in the mines or her mother searches through discarded rocks for bits of silver to sell, there's never enough food or money. To make it off the mountain and get a job in the cities down below, Ana knows she must stay in school. But Ana's dream of a better life is a fragile thing that is quickly shattered when a deadly cave-in changes her family's course forever.
