註釋Discusses the problem of minorities in interwar Poland as viewed by nationalist circles. Chs. 1-2 (p. 7-89) describe nationalism and antisemitism as part of their ideology, which treated the Jews as strangers, hostile to Polish national interests. Deals with the antisemitic program of the Endecja movement and of other smaller political parties and groups. The most important postulate of these circles was the creation of conditions in Poland which would encourage the Jews to emigrate. This policy included social isolation, creation of ghettos, boycott, anti-Jewish legislation, diminution of Jewish influence on Polish culture, and other measures.
