Chapters 1-7 explore the descendents of seven individuals, beginning with Ludwig Young, who was born c.1729 in Holland and died 1795 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Chapters are included on various branches of the Young family in Montgomery, Frederick, Washington and Prince George's County as well as miscellaneous family members from all over the state of Maryland.
