Robert Moody, son of William Moody and Harriet, was born 8 July 1805 in Basingstoke, England. He married Harriet Pearman Ivell in about 1831. They had three children. He married Elizabeth Broadley, daughter of Samuel Broadley and Rebecca Gray, in 1845. They had six children. They emigrated in 1850 and settled in Detroit, Michigan. He died 22 January 1881. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England and Michigan. Includes Bursell, Taylor and related families.
