註釋This working paper reports on a project that addressed the following objectives: to gather all available forest mensuration data collected during the development of British Columbia's biogeoclimatic ecosystem classification into a database; and to analyze those data for site series statistics on tree diameter class distribution, tree species diversity, and stems per hectare. The introductory text explains how the data were acquired, compiled, and analyzed, and briefly notes some outstanding issues to be resolved in the database. The appendix forms the bulk of the paper and presents the mensuration data by site series in tabular & graphic form.
