註釋
Tiré du site Internet de Revolver: "Archiv Peter Piller - A publication series documenting Peter Piller's collection of newspaper clippings. With each title representing a specific iconographic subject, the collection will extend up to 20 volumes to be released until 2005. The Hamburg-based artist Peter Piller lives in a very old (and mostly run-down) house in the city's red light district St. Pauli, just across the famous "Reeperbahn". Visiting him in the morning, when the last drunks make the crooked ways home and the streets get cleaned from the last night's escapades, is something you only should do, if you're ready to feel the desperateness and loneliness of a place like this. In his studio Peter Piller keeps a big metal drawer cabinet. This "Wunderkammer" holds an enormous amount of some thousand newspaper clippings - the archive. Peter Piller collects newspaper images from about 80 small local newspapers all over Germany, categorizes them and keeps them in this storage unit. He collects images of certain subjects, typically used within a local journalism style, forming a real icono-typical geography. The subjects he is classifying are for example: 'Murder Houses', 'Constructions Sites (yet empty lofts)', 'Reflectors on Uniforms', 'People touching cars', 'People pointing on something', 'People in front of holes', 'Tristesse', 'Site Visits', 'Stein des Anstoßes', 'Credit Card Robbers' etc ..."
