Catherine Murphy
註釋Describes her childhood in Minnesota and South Dakota before her family returned to Faribault, Minnesota. She worked at the Faribault Hotel and later, Minnesota Seed Company, before she learned to fly with encouragement from a co-worker. She was accepted into WASP training at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, Texas, August 9, 1943, and graduated February 11, 1944. She was assigned to Gardner Field, Taft, California, where she flew as an engineering test pilot for recently repaired airplanes. Next, she was assigned to Randolph Field, San Antonio, Texas, for instructor training. She returned to Gardner Field where she worked until the WASP program was deactivated on December 20, 1944. After the war, she was employed as the City Treasurer for San Gabriel Valley, California. She organized the California Municipal Treasurers Association.
