Gillian lived till the age of 22, but she never walked because she had been born in 1950 with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. This book is partly a tribute to her vivacious spirit and bravery, but it is also a massive tribute to the remarkable dedication of her parents. It is inconceivable that without their massive love and devotion that Gill would have survived beyond 8-10 years of age. This book will hopefully be an inspiration to others who have similar challenges to deal with.
