註釋A total of 1028 serum specimens were collected from mule deer and wapati (elk) in eight national parks and adjacent lands in the western United States, 81% of which came from hunter-killed animals. A total of 589 samples were tested for antibodies against selected disease agents. Management considerations and further research for disease management in wild ungulates in national parks are discussed.
