The aesthetic appeal of her works often stems from materials not taken from art stores, but from hardware stores and hobby centers or from everyday life: hairnets and the finest silicone strands, for example, window paints, adhesive tape, or clotheslines form seemingly endless linear patterns. Weber momentarily frees all these "raw materials" from the norms of their use. They become large-format paintings made of the finest structures, covering floors and walls.
