Regulation of Fixed-Line Telephony Charges Inside Colombia and Its Implications on the Free-Trade Agreement
註釋The topic of the interconnection positions for fixed telephony in Colombia, is one of the main matters that are debated in the negotiation of the Treaty of Free Trade with United States in the chapters related with telecommunications. Their importance is due to that involves investments and transborder trade of the national and international operators of both countries. The purpose of the present document is the one of commenting the impact that would have for the national operators to compete with the operators of United States in local telephony, keeping in mind the existent regulation in this sector and the possible measures that would have to take for not harming none of the operators involved in the trade of services in fixed telephony.
