William D. Hayden Letters
註釋Two letters from William D. Hayden, Madison, Me., to his uncle, Isaac Davis, East Bridgton, Me. The first letter, 1849 June 24, discusses the health and activities of various family members and describes the preparations and journey of William D. Lawrence to the California gold regions. The second letter, 1860 Sept. 23, informs Davis of the death of Hayden's father, probably Jedediah Hayden, and describes his father's life and accomplishments. Includes typescript transcriptions of letters.
