Richard K. Moore (BA, MA, DipEd, BD, PhD) initially trained as a teacher with the Education Department of Western Australia, serving in primary schools (6 years) and secondary schools (9 years). In 1974 he was appointed Lecturer in Biblical Studies at the Baptist Theological College of Queensland, and from 1979-2002 was Head of the New Testament Department at the Baptist Theological College of Western Australia (now Vose Seminary). From 1986-2002 he also lectured in New Testament for Murdoch University, a State university. In retirement he continues to research and publish in the field of New Testament. Richard's doctoral dissertation (University of Queensland, 1978) examined the doctrine of 'justification' (or 'rectification,' as he prefers to call it) with special reference to Paul's Letter to the Galatian churches and His Letter to the Christians of Rome.
