Committee Report Life-Line Project
註釋After the abolition of the death penalty, the number of long-term offenders in Canadian prisons increased, partly because of the lack of suitable halfway-house accommodation for good parole risks. This report, prepared in partnership with the Correctional Service of Canada, National Parole Board, the St. Leonard's Society and Frontier Help, and funded by the Donner Foundation proposes a new program to improve management options for the long-term offender population, and makes funding recommendations.
