Mive and Others
註釋One of the most prolific weird fiction writers of the 20th century, Minnesotan Carl Jacobi was an early member of the Minneapolis Fantasy Society. Praised by H. P. Lovecraft, among other speculative luminaries, Jacobi wrote for Weird Tales and other pulp magazines, as well as appearing in many anthologies. August Derleth was a fan, and Jacobi's story collections were published by Arkam House. Jacobi's tales cover an immense creative range, from bizarre artifacts to supernatural manifestations to mythological horrors, set in locales ranging from the mundane to the far-away and exotic. But his protagonists are mostly ordinary folk, unwittingly stalked by terror.
