註釋Description: Includes a 'Return of Convicts, Detained Prisoners, and Lunatics, on Robben Island, with the Number of Stones Cut, &c. and sent to the Cape, to the 1st of August 1834' (f.216) and two printed ordinances, entitled 'Ordinance of His Honor the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, for making Regulations for the conduct and proceedings of the Masters and Crews of Merchant Vessels arriving in the Ports of this Colony', 27 Nov 1827 (f.30), and 'Ordinance of His Excellency the Governor in Council, for fixing the quantities of Wines and of the Liquors allowed to be sold under Licence, and the Stamp Duties to be paid for Licences, and for regulating certain matters in regard to the making and selling of such Liquors', 27 Jun 1832 (f.132). Also features printed ordinances relating to the Post Office in the Cape Colony (ff. 149-153) and establishing Police Courts in Cape Town (f.227-229) and an index (ff. 348-352).
