The 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees and Some Questions of the Law of Treaties
註釋This article reviews the history of the Protocol and the problem of the limitation of the scope of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees. It discusses preparatory action for the establishment of a Protocol, in particular: the Colloquium on Legal Aspects of Refugee Problems with particular reference to the 1951 Convention and the Statute of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees held in Bellagio, Italy, in 1965; the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme; the United Nations General Assembly. Mr Weis discusses certain questions of the law of treaties arising in connection with the Protocol as well as the relationship between the 1951 Convention and the 1967 Protocol. The Protocol appears in an appendix to the article.
