註釋 Manitoba Hydro and the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation are proposing development of a 200-megawatt hydroelectric generating station at Taskinigup Falls on Wuskwatim Lake, about 50 kilometres south-west of Thompson, Manitoba. In accordance with environmental assessment legislation, environmental impact statement guidelines were drafted for the project. This report reviews comments & concerns about the draft guidelines expressed in public consultation sessions held in Thompson, The Pas, and Winnipeg. It includes a summary of the proposed hydroelectric project & associated transmission facilities, an overview of the consultation process, and summaries of the public input & written submissions at each session. Observations & recommendations to the Ministry of Conservation conclude the report. A copy of the draft guidelines is appended.
