Write down your strategy and the pair you will be trading; the time, date, lot size, trending, or scalping, tp, s/l and more. Also in the back, there's extra space for notes. I have found this to be the best way to remain disciplined. No longer will you take random trades instead you will actually enter the price and exit price so that you will analyze your setup. You will place a checkmark if the markets are rising, trending, or ranging as well as if you are in a buy or sell. If you have marked that the overall trend is an uptrend, then you should have also selected "BUY" as your entry; if you selected a sell, you will be countertrend trading so, make note of that so, you are aware of your exit before the overall trend continues and in this case, put a line through sell and mark buy. Blowing your account is not an option, so, let's keep it simple and make sure that everything is in sync. This 100-page journal should help you get there.
