註釋John Zlabek was born 24 June 1859 in Vodjan, Austria, Bohemia. His parents were Jacob Zlabek (1826-1917) and Mary Anna Mann (1827-1904). His family emigrated in 1865 and settled in Chicago, Illinois. They moved to Wisconsin in 1872. He married Catherine Morovits (1867-1950), daughter of John Morovits and Anna Straka (1841-1921) in 1884. They had thirteen children. He died in 1920. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Bohemia and Wisconsin. Includes Duha, Mezera and related families.
