There are many valuable lessons that we can learn throughout the Bible. And, the LORD doesn’t disappoint with how quickly we can begin understanding the teachings of Jesus Christ by looking at the Old Testament. One such story is that of Cain and Abel. We first understand that Abel was a keeper of the sheep and Cain was a tiller of the ground. In the end, a rhetorical question applies to all of us, Am I my brother’s keeper? We will look at many of the parables and the teachings of the Messiah, Then, we will tie it all back into the story of Cain and Abel.
