Summarizes findings obtained in first stage of longitudinal study of applicants to Seton Villa, 19-story high-rise offering 4 levels of accommodation/care under one roof. Interviews conducted with applicants in this group, also with two groups of control subjects in New Vista, another senior high-rise in Burnaby, B.C.
