Fish Movement in Catamaran Brook, N.B., 1990-96
註釋The purpose of this report is to summarize the fish counting fence data collected between May and November, 1990 to 1996, in the Catamaran Brook (New Brunswick) habitat research project. The project is a 15-year multi-disciplinary study addressing the impact of forestry practices on stream habitat, one undertaking of which is to quantify various migrating fish species that utilize the brook. The data presented represent a complete life cycle of Atlantic salmon movements in the brook, from hatch in 1990, smolt emigration in 1993, and returns as spawners in 1994 and 1995 or as repeat spawners in 1996. Other species of fish and amphibians were also found in the brook and data concerning the movements of many of these have been collected and are presented in this report as well.
