Major companies who have already implemented Python include NASA, IBM, National Weather Service, MCI Worldcom, and Redhat Linux who uses Python code for their installation procedure. Like Linux the Python language is free and freely distributed making its appeal wide spread. Additionally, Python is not only free but so are the compilers, documentation, and libraries creating a rich support network for Python adapters worldwide.
