Edmund Leach

Stanley Tambiah's intellectual biography of Leach covers his professional career and situation and reviews his writings. The work is organised chronologically provides an introductory assessment and a closing, personal, portrait, and two brief chapters discuss Leach's early years. But the bulk of the book deals with Leach's anthropological projects.
