註釋Family history and genealogical information about the descendants Samuel Snoddy who was born ca. 1720 in Ireland. He married Elizabeth Sloan sometime prior to the year 1750. They immigrated to America ca. 1767 and settled in Rowan Co., North Carolina. Samuel and Elizabeth were the parents of twelve known children. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and elsewhere.
