"This book is a collection of articles written by Jack Davis. Jack was the President of the Stearman Restorers Assn. from 1999 until his death in 2009. He was dedicated to the restoration of the model 75 Stearman. He was also Editor and Publisher of the Stearman Flying Wire. Jack was a prolific writer and prepared articles on a wide range of subject[s] dealing with this wonderful aircraft. Nearly every issue of this magazine contained one or more articles written by him. It is the desire of the Board of Directors of the Stearman Restorers Assn. to compile these articles into a book from as a memorial to Jack"--Foreword.
