註釋
Humic acid has been shown to adsorb on graphite, coal and coal-pyrite and to modify the surface properties of these minerals. The surface of a hydrophilic in the presence of humic acid, andthe floatability of graphite is effectively depressed in a fewppm humic acid solutions. The effect of humic acid is morepronounced in the presence of inorganic electrolytes (potassiumchloride, potassium nitrate). Humic acid was shown to depresscoal as well as pyrite. It was found that the amount of humicacid needed for depression varies for different coals. Flotationof the pyrite containing DEVCO coal in the presence of humic acidproduces concentrates with a lower content of sulphur, but theyield of concentrate is also reduced.
