This is a cute book based on a true story of love...with some embellishments. The giant in the story is lovable and the people included are based on my real family. I've read this story to kids from the USA and China, (yes its available in Chinese), and the kids love the characters and the story, most of it really happened. Parents will like this feature, I use it to teach basic English and have for several years. The grammar and style are typical of a children's book, with just enough higher level vocabulary to keep them coming back to it as their ability to read and understand grows. ESL students from China will like the dual language version, which is now ready for publication. its a great bedtime story, just long enough to get your little ones off to sleep.
