Sherrie Levine, Salubra ; [on the Occasion of the Exhibition Sherrie Levine, New York, 1 June - 18 August 2007]
註釋"This new work by Sherrie Levine is concerned with the subject of color. Inspired by the Polychromie Architecturale - a complex color scheme designed by the Swiss architect Le Corbusier in 1931 for modern interior decoration - the three works entitled Salubra 4, 5 and 7 each consist of monochromes painted on mahogany plates in 14 different colors ... The selection of color tones is based on a color 'family' defined already in 1921 by Le Corbusier and his peer, the painter Amédée Ozenfant"--Kay Heymer.
