Ideological Differences of Social Workers and Board Members
註釋"The study was undertaken to determine if there were ideological differences among Board members and social workers in the agencies of Montreal. United Red Feather Services. The question was investigated by the use of a questionnaire mailed to all social workers with M.S.W. degrees in the employ of Re Feather agencies, the questionnaire was also mailed to a stratified sample of Board members. Principal findings included the tendency of social workers to be more liberal than Board members toward persons receiving public assistance, and towards Government intervention in welfare. Social workers from Child Care agencies were significantly more conservative than others. Social work executives tended to polarize more liberally than other social workers. In response to twenty-three question., Board members had eleven instances of conservative majorities eighteen liberal and four equivocal. Social workers bad three conservative majorities, eighteen liberal and two equivocal. ..."--
