The Presuppositions of Critical History
註釋First published in 1874, The Presuppositions of Critical History has long been regarded as an outstanding example of the analytical philosophy of history as currently practiced by Anglo-American philosophers. It was the first serious application of British Idealism to the philosophy of history; at the same time, it shows some resemblance to certain phenomenological approaches fashionable among European philosophers.
