Radionuclide Mass Transfer Rates from a Pinhole in a Waste Container for an Inventory-limited and a Constant Concentration Source
註釋This paper develops analytical solutions for transient and steady-state diffusive mass transfer rates from a pinhole in a radioactive waste container for constant concentration and inventory-limited source conditions. Mass transfer in three media is considered: inside the pinhole, outside the container, and inside the container. Simple equations are formulated for radionuclide mass transfer rates from a pinhole. The factors that must be considered when providing a conservative estimate of mass transfer rates are noted.
