註釋William Guest Sr. could have possibly been the son of one of the first "Guests" that came to America in 1638. He married Susannah? They had six sons. William and his family moved to North Carolina in 1769 and then to South Carolina in 1785. It is presumed that William died ca. 1790. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and elsewhere.
