Letter Signed from Richard Lowke to Philip Henslowe
註釋With autograph corrections. Addressed to Master hinch(e)le, probably Philip Henslowe. Refers to Henslowe's promise "when you bade me send my wife and you would not send her back without aplase" [a gatherer's place?] " ... in time may be as beneficial to the house as another poor man may be, if you do but show her a little countenance before the company, the company will take it upon them ..." On the verso is a receipt for the small pox by Dr. [William] Paddy, possibly in Henslowe's hand. Also, transcript of the letter on the back of a note from Mr. Phipps of Brydges St. to Mr. Cubb, October 30, 1826.
