註釋
With autograph corrections. Addressed to Master hinch(e)le, probably Philip Henslowe. Refers to Henslowe's promise "when you bade me send my wife and you would not send her back without aplase" [a gatherer's place?] " ... in time may be as beneficial to the house as another poor man may be, if you do but show her a little countenance before the company, the company will take it upon them ..." On the verso is a receipt for the small pox by Dr. [William] Paddy, possibly in Henslowe's hand. Also, transcript of the letter on the back of a note from Mr. Phipps of Brydges St. to Mr. Cubb, October 30, 1826.
