註釋Richard Henry Ball papers include: Correspondence and other papers of Ball and of members of his family, relating to Ball's activities as a circuit rider on the Northern Neck, Va. circuit, to such Methodist educational institutions as the Northumberland Academy in Heathville, Va., Madison College, Uniontown, Pa., and Central Female Academy, Culloden, Ga., and to Ball's dismissal from the ministry on charges of misconduct. Includes a diary (Aug. 1869-Feb. 1870) kept by Ball's daughter Katie which gives a picture of Methodist activities and other events in Washington, D.C.
