Application of a Mathematical Model to the Basic Reversal Shift-non Reversal Shift Paradigm
註釋A reversal, non-reversal shift experiment was performed and a mathematical model was applied to the data. The reversal shift group (RS), once having attained criterion on a discrimination, had to learn to reverse previously learned values of the discriminated dimension. The nonreversal shift group (NRS), once having reached criterion, had to learn to discriminate along a new dimension. In either case, the change was made without S's knowledge--a basic procedure outlined by Buss (1953). Analyses of variance showed that significant differences appeared among different types of RS and NRS (F{subscript RS} = 7.22, p
