Cal is over in England from America on a school trip and is not over-enthusiastic about visiting Stratford to see a lot of boring stuff about Shakespeare - that is, until he becomes involved in a mystery about a missing manuscript. In trying to solve the mystery, aided and abetted by Karen, an English girl, Cal pursues his enemies through the centuries, and the action switches between Shakespeare's England and the present day. An intriguing and exciting story.
