Off with His Head
註釋For most of his adult life, Steve suffered from increasingly severe, chronic migraines. This story begins in 2009, when he is 26, down on his luck, and living back at his parents' house after years being out on his own. Seeking a new path, and short on alternate housing options, Steve moves into the vacant basement apartment in his grandmother's home. What at first seemed like a great opportunity for a fresh start can now be looked back upon as when his life really began to fall apart. In his new place, not only does Steve now have to contend with his ever-worsening migraines and deepening dependency on prescription medications, but also his cantankerous grandma and morbidly obese, chain smoking, gambling addict, schizophrenic and sometimes violent uncle. Off With His Head is the first book in the Don't Panic trilogy, chronicles Steve's years living with his grandmother in Harrison, New York, and his desperate struggle to unravel the mystery of what was causing his debilitating migraines.
