The first story starts with a young woman racing to save her life in a long-buried survival enclave. From there we join an interstellar trader who has a strange cargo forced on her. Other stories pose questions such as can you steal a planet, what will world leaders do when faced with an alien invasion is only 20 years away...The last stories two are of a different color, the fist a twisted reality and the second a more contemporary trial of personal struggle to make sense of what needs to be done when faced with tragedy.
