Residential Treatment Program for Juvenile Offenders Ages 14-17 with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity Disorder
註釋The purpose of this project is to design a program to reduce recidivism among juvenile offenders with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder following their release from a juvenile detention facility. The diagnosis of ADHD is highly prevalent among juvenile delinquents. This paper discusses the relationship between adolescents with ADHD and delinquency, the specific risk factors contributing to recidivism among this population and the need to design a treatment program to assist with community reintegration following their release from a detention facility. This paper will also outline a treatment program aimed at lowering recidivism rates and increasing successful community reintegration of adolescent offenders diagnosed with ADHD.
