Invention of the invisible
註釋Using handmade cameras such as his "split camera" or camera obscura, Berlin-born photographer Michael Wesely narrates the fleeting moment through the impression it leaves on film. His sequential works published here create intriguing multi-layered portraits of subjects like a day at the beach, the urban streets of Rome and a vase of tulips slowly dying over a nine-day period. If all photography is a way to capture a moment in time, Wesely's work is a way to watch time pass. Also featured is a collaborative work done with the Modern Museum of Modern Art, New York.
