Phenotyping of IgG Kappa/OgA Lambda Miclonal Gammopathy by Flow Cytometry
註釋A biclonal gammopathy (IgG kappa and IgA lambda) was detected in the serum of a 58-year old Malay man. The peripheral whole blood was examined for malignant plasma cells by immunofluorescence microscopy (IM) and phenotyped by a two-colour flow cytometry (FC) technique. Flow cytometry of whole blood specimen detected high expressions of CD38++, CD10++, CD56++ and CD20+ suggesting the presence of late stage B or pre-plasma malignant cells in the peripheral blood of this patient. The cells, however, were not of activated proliferative type as shown by negative expression of Ki67-. [Authors' abstract].
